Worthy Teaching

Worthy Teaching

The definition of the worthy teaching can be variety and infinite as we discussed in the last class: Non-judgmental teaching, Student centered teaching, organized teaching, etc. We judge whether the teaching is worthy or not with various standards. The criterion of worthy teaching varies from person to person. But there are two things that I think most important to determine worthy teaching.

First of all, Teaching based on good relationship with student is very important for because that helps to make comfortable atmosphere of class. More over, the better relationship between teacher and students, the more effectively student will study. Teacher should interact with students genuinely and honestly for worthy teaching. Students know whether their teacher is fond of them or hate them though teacher tries to hide their feeling because human being is a creature of impulse. Also, worthy teaching should not force student to learn or study but motivate because putting pressure on students could make students don’t want learn and can affect negatively to their psychology. Worthy teaching makes students interested in the subject that they need to learn and motivate them to study the subject in a natural way. For this worthy teaching teacher should organize the curriculum interestingly and productively.

Worthy teaching is not only organized and perfect teaching with good teaching skill but also the teaching that makes good atmosphere of class, the teaching that is based on good relationship with students as they understand students’ complicate psychology and the teaching that makes their students motivate to learn.
