Collaborating with different personality types

I think for some collaborating with different personality types happens much easier, almost like its second nature to them. But some people have a strong personality type that they rarely relate to. I think for teachers they not only need to learn and adjust their own personality type towards their students, but also their fellow teachers and parents of their students. Collaborating with different personality types is a key tool that many teachers need to acquire, but they can only begin to do so once they have figured out their own personality type.

Some teachers work with teaching assistances or may even have another teacher working with them. They need to learn to incorporate their own teaching styles as well as those of the other teacher. They may have different views of teaching and have different approaches in their teaching styles, but they need to find a way to collectively meet in the middle. They need to find a common ground and work towards providing the students with a learning environment that best suits their needs. This can be done once they have collaborated with one another’s personality types.
